SWEET MELLOW D / SUIT OF ARMOUR

Northside Records is proud to present the first two singles from Danika Smith’s forthcoming album pressed on a funky 45 right here in Melbourne.

We first met Danika as a singer for the 30/70 collective back in 2014. She is also a member of the band Tomgirl who we released a 45 with back in 2017. She is an integral and important part of Melbourne’s music scene and we want you to hear her new solo music!

“Sweet Mellow D” (which comes out digitally today) is a deep haunting soulful folk song that will be on her upcoming album alongside the equally fierce B-side “Suit Of Armour”.

This will be the first ever solo vinyl release for Danika and we at Northside are thrilled to be releasing it.
