Space Invadas are coming to Melbourne

SPACE INVADAS LIVE
THURSDAY NOV 19 @ The Toff
feat. Special Guests
+ DJs Danielsan & Mistarex

SPACE INVADAS is STEVE SPACEK and KATALYST. Steve Spacek is the internationally acclaimed voice behind the ground-breaking group Spacek (championed by everyone from Entertainment Weekly to Mos Def), and Katalyst is the award-winning Sydney-based producer signed to BBE & Invada Records. The two artists have now teamed up following the success of their first collaboration “How ‘Bout Us” (as featured on Katalyst’s “What’s Happening” and Gilles Peterson’s (BBC) “Brownswood Bubblers 3”).

But really – these artists need no introduction. Having collaborated with some of the best international artists such as Harmonic 313, J Dilla,  Portishead, Stephanie McKay, Diverse and J-Live – we don’t need to tell you this show and the upcoming record are gonna be BIG.

Thursday Nov 19, the duo will present SPACE INVADAS LIVE – their first and only performance in Melbourne this year; previewing songs from the forthcoming album “SOUL-FI” due out early 2010, including the singles “ORIGINAL” featuring Buff1 & Ru C.L. and “LIFE” featuring Jade Macrae. Don’t miss the debut live performances of this exciting outfit, featuring special guests on the night. International soul music straight outta Australia.
